Register soon for the ‘Designing Courses for Hybrid Delivery’ Workshop!

The faculty workshop series on ‘Designing Courses for Hybrid Delivery,’ offered by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, will run in winter quarter 2014.

In this workshop, participants explore research, principles, tools, and examples of best practices in designing and teaching hybrid courses. “Hybrid” courses integrate face-to-face and online instruction and activities. This mode of teaching can enhance student learning by providing innovative ways to communicate and collaborate. The workshop series includes face-to-face meetings, webinars, and asynchronous discussions to expose participants to the experience of each instructional mode. This workshop series is primarily geared toward faculty who are new to the experience of redesigning a course for hybrid delivery, but faculty with more experience (or with a goal of blended rather than hybrid delivery) are also welcome to participate.
Workshop Facilitators: Dr. Cara Harwood, CETL, and Dan Comins, ATS.
