Dear Faculty Colleagues,
On the third Friday of every month during the school year, the Faculty Support Team of Academic Technology Services and I invite UC Davis faculty to join us in 1310 Surge III (AKA The Grove) for a brown bag discussion of one or more pertinent topics in instructional technology. Tomorrow, May 19th, we will be discussing Grading in Canvas. As we approach the end of the quarter, questions arise about strategies for assessing students, recording grades, and computing grades. In addition to grading, we will also be discussing other Canvas-related issues, including questions that you deem to be particularly thorny or worthy of further explanation.
Please join us for the discussion at the last faculty forum of the school year. Together we will learn more about teaching and grading in Canvas from our faculty peers, and from the Faculty Support staff at Academic Technology Services.
