Friday Events: Desire2Learn, Faculty Panel on Flipping the Classroom, & Edupoweredu’s Mobile Platform

There are a lot of great events happening this Friday that you won’t want to miss! At 10am, Desire2Learn (one of the vendors we’re considering as a replacement for Sakai, the learning management system that currently powers SmartSite) will give a demonstration in the Student Community Center.

Then, at 12pm in 1310 Surge III, we’ll have our monthly Faculty Panel. This month, the topic is flipped classrooms, and we’re lucky to have Jesus DeLorea joining us to share his experience with using technology for mathematics education.

Finally, at 1pm in 1310 Surge III (immediately following the faculty panel), Edupoweredu will give a demonstration of their mobile learning platform.
