About this talk: This video will describe how the School of Nursing implemented a faculty development online series of modules and workshops on Best Practices in Online Education. It will include how the curriculum evolved as faculty became immersed in required online teaching due to Covid-19.
About the presenters:

Elizabeth Rice is associate dean for student and faculty success and clinical professor at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. She oversees implementation of programs designed to ensure student and faculty success in their educational and professional development.

Cara M. Sandholdt, PhD, is an assistant adjunct professor in anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology for the family nurse practitioner and physician assistant programs at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. Sandholdt is an expert in student-centered learning, learning technology and case-based learning methods.
