Description

There are many benefits of having a collaborative study in class and it was crucial to offer group work during pandemic. On-line teaching taught us new skills that help to run group work more smooth. In this talk I will share the organizational tips which can benefit both in-person and on-line study.

About the Presenter

Maria Trnkova holds a split postdoc and lecturer positions at the Mathematics Department. She joined UCD in 2016 and taught both lower and upper division classes. The area of her expertise is Geometry, Topology and Computer Graphics. She is also interested in ways to make mathematics more visual through her artistic work using crochet and 3D printing.
