The Wheel is a blog designed to provide information about educational technology so that faculty members at University of California, Davis don't have to "reinvent the wheel" as they incorporate technology into their classrooms and remote teaching experiences.
An Academic Technology Services initiative, The Wheel is produced by Academic Associate Director of Academic Technology Services, Dr. Andy Jones.
Among other activities, Dr. Andy leads the monthly Discussing Online Learning and Collaborative Education (DOLCE) meetings and the monthly Faculty Forums, and hosts the yearly Summer Institute on Teaching and Technology. This blog allows those areas to merge, bringing you up-to-date information about the field of educational technology and the resources available to you at UC Davis.
