How to get the most out of SITT
We are so pleased that you are joining us for SITT 2023! Whether this is your first SITT or you have been with us before, we want you to get the most out of your time with us this week. We suggest that you do the following:
Before SITT
- Watch on-demand presentations and interviews and be ready to share your top takeaways. This will help “prime the pump” for the great presentations and discussions we’ll have together!
- Submit questions for the presenters of the on-demand presentations and then attend the live panels to hear the responses and participate in the conversation.
- Register for each day of the live events.
- Download a SITT-themed Zoom virtual background.
- Use SensusAccess to transform slides or handouts from any of the on-demand or live presentations into whatever accessible format you need.
During SITT
- Join us for live events on Thursday and Friday from 8:45am - 1pm!
- Share questions and comments in the chat of each Zoom meeting to interact with presenters and each other.
- Complete the session feedback poll inside Zoom at the end of each live talk.
- Be ready to share your top takeaways from the on-demand content or the live events at the special Faculty Forum at the end of SITT (Friday at 12pm). Join us to reflect and discuss how you will adapt your teaching for Fall Quarter 2023 based on what you learned at SITT!
After SITT
- Propose a topic or presenter for a DOLCE or Faculty Forum during the coming school year. (Psst - you can propose yourself as a presenter!)
