Description

Discussion platforms are often used to help assist with questions, create course engagement, and foster community. Piazza and Discord are popular options, but each platform leads to different types of questions asked, types of interactions, and levels of engagement. This presentation will include an analysis of the types of interactions observed across each platform, types of questions asked, and factors to consider when implementing a discussion platform in a class.
