Save the Date! Summer Institute for Teaching and Technology - Sept 13
Academic Technology Services will host a Summer Institute for Teaching and Technology on Friday, September 13 from 9am-5pm. Following a keynote address in the morning, you will be invited to choose from multiple panel discussions on topics such as technology in the physical classroom, innovative teaching, and technology in the virtual classroom. Everyone seems to be curious about hybrid and online teaching these days – we will stoke that curiosity.
The afternoon will include more hands-on breakout sessions on topics such as innovative and user-friendly tools that enhance learning, SmartSite and upcoming LMS transitions, and intellectual property and copyright.
We will post additional details, such as our meeting locations and faculty speakers, in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, please reserve Friday the 13th for us. Luckily, you will be surrounded by friends with similar interests in improving teaching and learning. We look forward to seeing you in September. Our faculty forums on most Fridays at noon will start up in October.
