Academic Technology Services welcomes you to the 2021 Summer Institute on Teaching and Technology (SITT). In response to the continued need for physical distancing, this year's institute will be held entirely online with a mix of pre-recorded content and live faculty-led events hosted in Zoom. This year's theme, "Bouncing Back: Flexible Teaching in a Year of Recovery," will center on lessons learned from remote teaching, as well as insights from faculty about integrating educational technologies into their curricula.
SITT offers attendees a few ways to participate, including joining live talks on September 9 and 10, 2021 and accessing pre-recorded content that can be viewed during the week of SITT and beyond. To participate, follow three simple steps:
- Complete a short sign-up form to receive information and updates about SITT.
- Visit the Join Live Talks section to see a schedule of live events and register for each talk.
- Visit the Watch Recorded Content section to see a library of pre-recorded videos from faculty, as well as interviews with Dr. Andy Jones.
Live faculty-led events will take place between 8:45 am and 1:00 pm PST on September 9 and 10, 2021. Register to join each event by clicking on the "Register" button on the schedule or details page for each talk.
In addition to live events, SITT also features pre-recorded faculty talks and interviews with Dr. Andy Jones on a variety of topics related to educational technologies, active teaching, lessons learned from remote teaching, and more.
If you are experiencing trouble accessing live events or content on this site, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request assistance.
