Using Data to Inform Instruction -- A March 16th at Noon Faculty Forum!

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

The end of the winter quarter presents us as an opportunity to reflect on how, and how effectively, we are teaching our students. The March 16th Faculty Forum will feature three accomplished educators who have reflected on their teaching methods and results by paying close attention to the data generated in their courses. Data from student evaluations and student performance on final exams and project can help guide us towards solidifying our effective habits and practices, and give us an opportunity to make plans for innovation in our classes.

Please join us for the March 16th Faculty Forum on “Using Data to Inform Instruction.” Tomorrow’s discussion will feature Joel Ledford, Department of Plant Biology, Kristin Kiesel, Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, and Jenny Quynn, the Learning, Assessment and Technology Specialist for the College of Engineering.

We will be gathering March 16th at noon in 1310 Surge III, and we would love it if you could join the conversation.

Best,

Dr. Andy Jones
