Dear Faculty Colleagues,
Happy May Day! It’s time for another DOLCE! This Friday’s meeting of DOLCE (Discussing Online Learning and Collaborative Education) will feature two faculty colleagues sharing their expertise in two of our most popular teaching technologies, Microsoft PowerPoint and UC Davis Canvas.
James Carey, distinguished professor in the Department of Entomology and Nematology, will discuss “Advanced PowerPoint Techniques: Examples from across the disciplines.”
Jeanette Ruiz, a lecturer in the Department of Communication, will share her experience teaching an online class in her talk titled “Moving Online: Some lessons learned.”
We hope you will be able to attend DOLCE on Star Wars Day, Friday, May the 4th at noon in the Grove (1310 Surge III).
