The October 2021 DOLCE Recording is Now Available

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

Thanks to all who joined us for our first DOLCE of Fall Quarter 2021. On October 1, we heard from a multi-campus team of instructional designers that has been doing research since 2017 on mobile learning. Participants and attendees discussed the use of smartphones, tablets, and laptops for instruction, whether that teaching and learning takes place inside or outside the classroom. Channeling faculty interviewed at four UC campuses, the presenters reported on mobile learning successes, such as increasing student engagement and saving time, and mobile learning strategies, such as teaching specific skills and concepts and using student-created data to teach course content. The video recording of the October DOLCE is now available.
