Prepare for Winter 2022 with ATS Ed Tech Week!

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a helping hand while you’re preparing the technologies for your next course? We think so!

Starting January 4, 2022, Academic Technology Services will be hosting events and resources as part of our quarterly Ed Tech Week to help faculty design Canvas courses, produce and share instructional materials and videos, and set up other academic technologies (such as Gradescope) for the winter term.

We’ve curated support documents to make finding beginning-of-quarter solutions more efficient, and we will host live online workshops where participants can consult with instructional designers and educational technologists who specialize in online, blended, and technology-mediated teaching. Whether you join us or not, we invite you to schedule one-on-one or small group consultations for your specific questions and needs by visiting the ATS scheduler or emailing instructionaldesign@ucdavis.edu

Find the list of resources and events in the Ed Tech Week section here on our instructional technology blog, The Wheel, where we’ve added a new main menu item for easy access. Here you’ll find links to RSVP for live online workshops and support addresses to connect with our team. If you’re looking for recorded talks from SITT 2021, don’t worry; we’ve just moved them to the Faculty Events menu.

We hope to see you during Ed Tech Week and throughout the winter quarter to learn more about how technology can improve teaching and learning experiences across all courses at UC Davis!
