Using Social Media to Promote your Research

On Thursday, November 1 from 1pm-3pm in the Garrison Room (second floor, Memorial Union), Holly Bik, a postdoctoral scholar in marine genomics, will lead a workshop on Using Social Media to Promote your Research.

Dr. Bik works in Jonathan Eisen's lab and is extensively involved in the use and promotion of social media in academic settings. She has several social media sites dedicated to the dissemination of science, including Deep Sea News, @Dr_Bik, and Google Plus.
