ePortfolio Roundtable - Thurs, Nov 29

The University Writing Program is hosting a teaching with technology roundtable this Thursday, November 29 at 12pm in 126 Voorhies, specifically focusing on ePortfolios.

Hogan Hayes, PhD student in the school of education with an emphasis in writing, rhetoric, and composition, will speak at the roundtable -- he has been researching eportfolios for some time, and will present on the topic at the Conference on College Composition and Communication next March.

Hogan has also been instrumental in the pilot that is currently taking place in several UWP 1 sections -- our students are using Folio For Me to create ePortfolios. At least in my class, the students are responding well!
