SITT 2024

Welcome to SITT 2024!

Welcome to the 2024 Summer Institute on Teaching and Technology! We’re so glad you could join us.

As you can see from the SITT agenda, SITT 2024 features UC Davis faculty and staff during two half-days of live online presentations the mornings of September 12 and 13, as well as a library of on-demand talks and interviews you can watch at your convenience.

As faculty fortunate to teach California’s best university students, we recognize that our students have overcome significant barriers and taken on important challenges before stepping into our classrooms. This year’s theme, “Digital Divisions, Digital Multiplications,” spotlights not only the socio-economic disparities that result in our students’ past and current unequal access to learning technologies and resources, but also the guidance necessary for our students to use these tools effectively in the pursuit of their goals at the university and in their lives. Centering on the strategies, tools, and attitudes UC Davis’ best instructors use to multiply the effectiveness of educational technologies, SITT 2024 showcases pedagogically innovative and student-focused faculty who are bridging digital divides for their students in every course they teach.

Register in Zoom now to receive the single Zoom URL for both days of live virtual sessions, and (coming soon!) browse “Watch On-Demand Talks & Interviews” to see pre-recorded short videos on a variety of topics.
