Getting Started with UC Davis Canvas

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to remind you or make you aware of a resource Academic Technology Services developed to assist faculty in utilizing and implementing our new LMS: Canvas. Getting Started with UC Davis Canvas is a resource you could use to help you transition to Canvas, and to help you design your course with a focus on student learning.

The site is divided into two sections: Getting Started and Beyond Getting Started. We designed it with a faculty member’s time demands in mind. In this way, the site tries to curate resources about Canvas and organize them so faculty can pick and choose what they need to help their own class and students.

We hope you’ll check it out.

Thank you for your time! Alex and Kayce
