A Chance to "Share You" on Wednesday, May 2nd!

 

As has been mentioned in several DOLCE events, members of our ATS staff have been working for more than a year on a diversity and inclusion grant project entitled Share You. The goal of Share You is to curate a multimedia dialogue about how members of our UC Davis community promote and live diversity and inclusion. We aim to foster mutual understanding and respect by highlighting individual stories, passions, and identities.

Participating in Share You gives each of us a chance to and think about and share answers to such questions as:

• How do my passions and identity intersect?
• How have I embraced my own or other’s differences?
• How have I used my own uniqueness and passions to build community and generate mutual understanding?
• How can my identities and passions bring positive change to our campus and community?

Members of the UC Davis community have been submitting their contributions to this dialogue since last fall, and these beautiful and poignant submissions are being featured on our website and social media sites (see below), and will be on display during our live exhibition on May 2, 2018. Please join the Share You team and other members of the UC Davis community from 10am-4pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in the Student Community Center Multipurpose Room.

Come find a story that inspires you and contribute your story (even a small part) as well!
