Upcoming Fall Quarter DOLCE and Faculty Forums

Dear Faculty Colleagues, 

Welcome back! I am pleased to announce the Fall schedule for our biweekly faculty gatherings on teaching with technology. Discussing Online Learning and Collaborative Education (DOLCE) meetings take place on the first Friday of every month, while Faculty Forums occur on the third Friday of every month, both in 1310 Surge III / The Grove, a couple buildings west of the Silo. This quarter speakers will discuss a range of topics: 

  • Teacher presence online
  • Gradescope
  • ATS roadshow
  • Collaborative learning
  • Teaching with iPads
  • Flipped classes and classrooms
  • Lessons learned from failures
