Video from the February Faculty Forum on Managing Large Classes
Dear Faculty Colleagues,
Thanks to everyone who participated in our recent Faculty Forum on managing high-enrollment classes. We called it “Tech tools to the rescue: Managing large classes and overwhelming teaching and assessment workloads.”
As we heard from faculty Susan Keen, Robyn Screen, Miriam Markum, Julia Chamberlain, and others, Gradescope is a powerful tool for managing, sorting, assessing, and communicating with UC Davis undergraduates. It also streamlines grading with AI and optical character recognition functions and helps faculty collaborate efficiently with teaching assistants.
Enjoy this short preview (by Dr. Andy Jones) before reviewing the full recording of our February 21 Faculty Forum.
Please plan to join us for our next DOLCE event on pedagogical benefits of ETRA grants on March 7th. The lively Zoom chat always rewards our faculty colleagues who can join us in synchronously.
