Upcoming webinar: PlayPosit 201: Advanced Features

Emergency remote teaching has resulted in a significant increase in the number of instructional videos being produced and viewed at UC Davis. For those of you looking to improve student engagement with your videos, the tool PlayPosit can help students stay engaged and retain key course content. PlayPosit is an online learning platform that allows you to add questions and other interactions into the timeline of your videos, making videos more engaging for students and providing you and your students with feedback on what learning is taking place.

If you are currently using PlayPosit and are ready to explore more advanced platform functionalities, please join the PlayPosit instructional design team on Friday, February 26 at 10:30 am PT to learn more about

  • The capabilities of PlayPosit’s rich text editor
  • Advanced interaction settings
  • Branched learning with jumps & hot spots
  • And more!

Also, see a number of use cases that highlight advanced functionalities, and learn how to implement those techniques in your own course!

Register here to attend “PlayPosit 201: Advanced Features” at 10:30am on Fri, Feb 26.

If you are new to PlayPosit, we suggest that you watch the recording of our “Introduction to PlayPosit” webinar and explore the resources below before attending the upcoming webinar on more advanced features. A brief introductory video is available for viewing, and the PlayPosit knowledge base contains a wealth of information for all things PlayPosit, including the following resources concerning Canvas, bulbs (i.e., the interactive videos created in PlayPosit), and privacy:
