Bikes on Picnic Day

April 20th Faculty Panel on Teaching with Mobile Technologies

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

As we know, cell phone ownership is ubiquitous among 18-29 year olds, and a majority of our UC Davis students bring their mobile devices into our classrooms. An Education Week article published today, titled “10 Step Process to Evaluate Non-Instructional Technology,” reminds us that faculty and students have access to a great number of tools that we can employ to help our students accomplish our educational goals for them. The faculty forum this Friday, April 20th, will feature faculty who use mobile devices and mobile platforms to support student learning in innovative ways.

Please join us at this Faculty Forum on mobile learning this Friday, April 20th at noon in 1310 Surge III. We are excited for the opportunity to discuss mobile devices and ways in which they can be an asset and not a hindrance to the learning process.

Happy Picnic Day weekend!
