Description
Dr. Beal discusses the importance she attaches to focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion in her teaching, guided at times by the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework that takes advantage of her approaches in hybrid and remote classes. She emphasizes responding supportively to our students’ needs, and noting the richness that diversity brings into our classrooms.
