April 17th Noon Faculty Forum on Digital Accessibility in the Classes We Teach

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

On Friday, April 17th at noon (via Zoom), Academic Technology Services will be hosting a Faculty Forum on the accessibility of our UC Davis Canvas course pages and other teaching materials. We hope you will join us.

ADA rules require that all of us make our course Canvas pages and other web content accessible to all users. At this forum, faculty will share stories about their accessibility efforts, including with brief screen sharing that will help make these processes clearer to all of us.

Additionally, Brad Starkey-Owens, Digital Accessibility Program Manager, as well as our ATS instructional designers and our accessibility coordinator will be on hand to answer questions on (accessible) teaching topics. For your accessibility questions before and after April 17, join the Digital Accessibility Program Manager for Digital Accessibility Q&A every Wednesday at 1:00 PM.

Please register now and add this event to your calendar.

See you on April 17th at noon. This event will be recorded with the video to be subsequently posted on The Wheel, the instructional technology blog of UC Davis.
