Video from the February 7th DOLCE on Teaching with Video and with PlayPosit at UC Davis
Dear Faculty Colleagues,
Thanks to everyone who attended our recent DOLCE on teaching with video and with PlayPosit. Reviewing the video of this event, you will discover excellent presentations on these topics by Lisa Oaks of Psychology and Jorge Peña from Communication.
We learned about strategies for the length of videos, the use of a script (recommended), and the use of visuals with a recorded presentation or lecture for our students. Thanks to Jorge Peña for sharing with us his presentation lecture notes.
Many attendees remained for a bonus webinar by Stephanie Gates of PlayPosit, a presentation that you can see in a separate video, below.
Enjoy this short preview before you review the full recording of the February 7th DOLCE or the recording of the bonus webinar.
Please reach out to our instructional design team with questions about any tools or practices that were raised at this extended event, and please plan to join us on first and third Fridays of the month at noon (via Zoom) for forums like this one.
With thank to our presenters,
Dr. Andy Jones
