About the Interviewee

Dr. Kenji Quides is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Dr. Quides has nearly 10 years of teaching experience in a small classroom setting (<25 students), which included interdisciplinary project-based learning at Chapman University before joining UCD.  He consistently draws on this experience as part of his pedagogical approach at the level of the individual student, classroom, term, and program. At UCD, this includes the adaptation of small classroom strategies and asset-driven activities for high-enrollment courses.
