About the Presenter
Katy Teixeira is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Agricultural and Environmental Education. Before earning her PhD in Agricultural Education, Dr. Teixeira spent 7 years teaching at the high school. With a background in layout and design, she enjoys making presentations fun and engaging while also promoting clarity and variability. Dr. Teixeira teaches the undergraduate courses for the AEE major as well as courses in Animal Science. She also enjoys working with agricultural education teachers throughout the state through presentations and workshops.
