About the Interviewee
Dr. Susan Gentry is a Professor of Teaching and Vice Chair in the Materials Science and Engineering department at UC Davis. Her departmental teaching ranges from introductory to graduate core levels, and she has never taught the same class twice in a single academic year. Her current scholarly interests are centered on supporting students’ mental well-being and academic success and on implementing innovative teaching methods in graduate instruction.
